Last weekend I turned 29, and it was a very relaxful birthday. We didn't really celebrate it because I wanted just the simplicity of us just being together.I woke up to a gorgous display of gerber daisies in the washroom and it was a wonderful surprise... especially since it's hard to surprise me. :) I love gerber daisies because of their bright cheerful colors and the arrangment made them look so elegant.
I had text messages throughout the day from my friends wishing me happy birthday and that was another wonderful surprise! These days when you're not on facebook, not many people remember your birthday so I was touched by all the text messages/emails I got!
All in all, it was perfect in my kind of way. Highlight was definately the card my nephews and niece spent drawing for me :). Thanks to everyone for making this a memorable sweet birthday...... can't wait to see what happens when I reach the big 3-0.
