- I know I know....I need better names for my dishes huh?
Well after new years.... I wanted pasta but I didn't want #1 because it gets a bit oily sometimes, and I didn't want #2.... cause.... lets just say I had enough alcohol prior to new years. Well I looked in the fridge and saw a 4L Milk. Now... I hate drinking plain milk, but I also hate wasting, so began my search online as to how to incorporate milk into a pasta dish.
I found it on Food Network via the IPhone App.... but I can't seem to find it now, so I'm going based off of memory.

Ingredients:
Pasta
1 Tablespoon Butter
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
2 Tablespoon Floor
2 Cups of Milk
Shrimp
Parmesan Cheese
Pesto
Pesto
Directions:
- Cook pasta as per package
- In a separate pan, cook shrimp (I also added scallops). Season w/ Salt & Pepper
- In a separate pan, heat Olive Oil & Butter(I used Margarine), once heated add Flour and mix. Once thoroughly mixed, add Milk and mix some more
- Once completed, add Pesto (if it gets to thick, just slowly add some more milk).
- At this point, you add the Parmesan Cheese, since I didn't have any I skipped this part. I would really recommend the Cheese though, cause I think it would have added nicely to the sauce and give it a good flavour.
- I also added a Chili Pepper (you know the kind you find when you eat Viet Food). It didn't give much heat (maybe the milk counteracted) so next time I'll probably add 2.
- Once your sauce is complete, mix in your seafood and then your pasta and Viola complete. I sprinkled some parsley on top for presentation purposes ;). (Next time, I think I'll keep the sauce & pasta separate. While it was yummy for me, by the time Van woke up an hour later there was no more sauce and just not as tasty)
