on Friday, we had scheduled a night engagement shoot with our photographers! (Originally we wanted to do a rain shoot, but unfortunately it doesn't rain much in the city). We thought a night shoot would be just as interesting! We went to Louis McKinney Park at 9pm and though it was a bit bright out still, I'm sure we got some beautiful shots. The weather wasn't cooperating and the winds were gushing around 50km/hr. After 1.5 hrs of taking pictures we were freezing and pooped, but all and all it was very fun and gave us a good rapport with our photographer! Will need to post some pictures when we receive them.
on Saturday we headed out to Calgary! I haven't had a vacation since . . . Dec 2007 and since the honeymoon isn't until Oct, we decided to take a mini road trip to Calgary. It was a gorgeous day (how ironic compared to the night before), and we had some fun being away in a different city. LOL.
Today (Sunday) we went back to Derks (different location) and decided on the tuxs! Finally one less thing to do! And I gotta admit, Van was looking pretty sharp in all the Tuxs.
It was nice to complete all these things, especially since the wedding is fast approaching and Van is leaving to San Francisco in 3 days! Here's a picture of the Flower Girl & Flower Boy drinking milk when we went to visit on Sat. The picture of Van and the Ring Bearer is too cute so I'm saving that for the slideshow submission.
