Vegas 2010

We had lucked out and gotten some cheap deals for Vegas last month ($125/person for flight+4 nights hotel). We roped our good friends Andrew & Alexandra to come with us and had a wonderful time! It was low season in Vegas so for me it was nice to walk around uncrowded streets & with no smoke blowing in my face.

Day 1: we went for dinner at the Rio Seafood Buffet because all Van wanted was Crab Legs, Crab Legs, Crab Legs. I forgot to take a picture at the start because I was too busy munching on the food.... but here's a picture of Van's 4th Plate at the buffet. As you can guess... he didn't stray away from his crab legs. That night Van had 5-6 plates altogether.

Day 2: we went to Fashion Show Mall and headed straight to Stripburgers! I had read about their yummy burgers and I could not leave Vegas without trying them! They were great but not something I would specifically go out of my way to eat. Their patties are cooked Medium Rare so I'm sure some people might be hesitant to see their burgers pink in the centre. During lunch a cute little bird decided to leave their mark on Van's arm. Ahhhhh.

Day 3: We decided to go to Todai: the All You Can Eat Japanese Food Buffet. It was so good, but of course afterwards we all swore off Japanese food. As you can see afterwards we all needed a rest and I caught Andrew wanting to pass out from the food.

Day 4:
Based off of SIL Sandy & Soon to be BIL Jamie, we headed over to Hot N Juicy Crawfish. Sandy & Jamie had seen an episode on Man Vs. Food so we had to check it out. The crawfish were a big small, so next time I think I would choose shrimp. Van of course went for the King Crab Legs. They were super tasty, and I even did the Louisana thing and sucked the heads (really it was filled with nothing but juice). The staff was really nice & even helped us call a cab afterwards.

Random Shots:
Here are some random pictures we took. You just cannot experience Vegas without having one of their super tall margarita drinks!
