It seems the new bridal trend is a Monogrammed Aisle Runner. After researching some sites, I thought this was a great way to use up my acrylic paint from the Cake Table letters .After some careful consideration and new projects emerging . . . We've decided to axe the Aisle Runner. Van of course is happy, since he thinks I'm taking too many projects on but I'm a bit sadden.
Reasons for the axe:
1) What will we do with a 100ft Aisle Runner when the wedding is over?
2) Our ceremony site already has a red carpet, will a white transparent Aisle Runner look nice ontop?
3) There are no nice "C", "V", "T" scripted letters to use. No matter how fancy the fonts, the letters end up looking plain.
4) Since the ceremony is outside, what if I trip and fall down on my way to the Aisle?
5) I am getting very very lazy
To those of you that don't share my concerns, definitely do an Aisle Runner! With the Michael's 40% Coupon, the Runner came to a gram smacking total of $26. If you have acrylic paint and paint brushes, then this is a very cost effective way to spruce up your ceremony site! I found this awesome site that gives step by step instructions on how to make it, so try it out and let me know how it turns out!

Now, back to Michaels to refund the Aisle Runner . . . (sigh)
