Venue Tasting

As there is a different chef for the conference centre, the only tastings they offered was a Ukrainian Brunch, Easter Brunch and Mother's Day Brunch. So today we headed over to the venue to get a taste of what our wedding would be like! First off I have to say the room was less blue then I remembered, it really is more of a turquoise blue and has a nice spring/summer feel to it. Course when I was telling Van this, his response was "this is the room we're getting married in?" . . . oh silly Van & his memory. Now back to the food. Since it was a brunch, the majority of the food were not items that would be served at our wedding. However we did sample Ham, Roasted Beef, Turkey, and Chicken Cordon Bleu. The food was just like any buffet, and we're having a bit of a difficult time choosing as we wish we could taste everything. My favourite dish I had was the eggs benedict, now if I could find a way to add that to our wedding (lol).
