Misc. Wedding Shopping on Saturday

Sandy had lent me a catalogue from wedding star and after comparing on ebay and international sites, weddingstar.com was the cheapest. So to save on shipping, we decided to head to ABC weddings to find the items. So here are the goodies we bought:

1) Garter
I needed a "something blue" backup, just incase I feel like strutting down the aisle in my red hot shoes. Though it's a bit beachy, it was the prettiest one I saw at the store!

2) Cake Topper
We felt that we weren't giving enough homage to our asian heritage and decided that a double happiness cake topper would just be perfect! Here is our Double Happiness cake topper which is currently residing at our cake lady's house (the marvelous talented Alexandra!)

3) Toasting Flute
Originally I wanted to get the Swarovski toasting flutes (left) until I came across the price tag of $500.00!!! So I was overjoyed when I found this similar design (right) with the crystals in the stem and it came out to only $50!
